Assessment Program
NHSOA is committed to providing formal assessments
for each member once every three years. Some referees receive
assessments more frequently due to availability and play-off schedules.
Occasionally, officials are assessed less often. The cost of
this effort is funded by the NHSOA annual dues. The purpose of
assessments is to allow each referee to develop his/her skills and to
achieve a balance of standardization and personal style in the
organization. Any questions or requests about this program can be
